Mumbai indians women’s buyers players in 2024 auction

The Mumbai Indians Women’s team bought five players at the WPL 2024 auction, spending Rs 1.55 crore out of their available purse of Rs 2.1 crore. The players they bought are:

Shabnim Ismail (South Africa): A fast bowler who has played 113 T20Is and taken 115 wickets. She was the second-most expensive player in the auction, bought for Rs 1.2 crore.

S Sajana (India): An all-rounder who has played for Kerala in domestic cricket. She can bat in the middle order and bowl medium pace. She was bought for Rs 15 lakh.

Amandeep Kaur (India): A left-arm spinner who has played for Punjab in domestic cricket. She has taken 18 wickets in 14 T20 matches. She was bought for Rs 10 lakh.

Fatima Jaffer (India): A right-arm off-spinner who has played for Maharashtra in domestic cricket. She has taken 12 wickets in 11 T20 matches. She was bought for Rs 10 lakh.

Keerthana Balakrishnan (India): A right-handed batter who has played for Tamil Nadu in domestic cricket. She has scored 211 runs in 15 T20 matches. She was bought for Rs 10 lakh.

These players will join the 13 retained players from the previous season, including captain Harmanpreet Kaur, Amelia Kerr, Nat Sciver-Brunt, and Hayley Matthews.
