Ruturaj Gaikwad sustained a right ring finger injury during the second ODI against South Africa in Gqeberha. Subsequent scans and expert consultation led the BCCI Medical Team to rule him out for the rest of the tour. Gaikwad will undergo further injury management at the NCA. Abhimanyu Easwaran has been selected as his replacement by the Men’s Selection Committee.
Additionally, fast bowler Harshit Rana won’t be participating in the upcoming four-day match against South Africa A on December 26 at Willowmoore Park in Benoni due to a hamstring injury.

Mr Rajat Patidar, Mr Sarfaraz Khan, Mr Avesh Khan and Mr Rinku Singh to India A’s squad while Mr Kuldeep Yadav has been released from the squad.
